Miley Cyrus Joins 'Dancing with the Stars'

Miley Cyrus will rock the ballroom on "Dancing with the Stars."

The "Hannah Montana" star will take a break from production on her hit Disney Channel series and from promoting her new movie, 'Bolt,' to perform "Fly on the Wall," the second single from her No. 1 album, Breakout on the "DWTS" finale on Tuesday, Nov. 25 at 9 p.m. on ABC.

Brooke Burke, Cody Linley, Lance Bass and Warren Sapp compete tonight at 8 in the "DWTS" semifinals.

Heather Locklear Charged in DUI Incident

Heather Locklear has been charged in an alleged September DUI incident in Montecito, California.

The Santa Barbara District Attorney's Office filed a misdemeanor charge against Locklear for driving under the influence of prescription medications.

Locklear's arraignment date in the case has been set for Jan. 26, 2009.

Locklear was booked back in September on suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance.

Cloris Leachman's Emergency Room Drama

ET breaks news that actress and former "Dancing with the Stars" competitor Cloris Leachman recently fell ill, but is now on the mend.

The 82-year-old star's rep tells ET, "On Thursday, November 13th, Cloris attended the Lint Roller event at the Hollywood Palladium. She had a slight cough and wasn't feeling totally herself, so she went and sought medical attention from her doctor. On Saturday, Cloris attended a private family gathering. She is currently at her home, and is expected to tape something for 'Dancing with the Stars' later this week. This will have absolutely no effect on any of Cloris' upcoming projects."

According to sources, the star was diagnosed with pneumonia and was treated and released at a Los Angeles-area hospital.

'Dancing with the Stars' Semi-Finals Action!

It's the "Dancing with the Stars" semi-finals! With only four couples left, the competition is fierce and the stakes are at an all-time high. But tonight, the judges weren't letting anybody off the hook. Get your complete "Dancing" recap here!

Having to perform two different dances to show they have a shot at the title, the couple to beat -- model and reality show host Brooke Burke and her pro-dance partner Derek Hough -- delivered The Jive and received surprisingly unanimous disapproval from the judges. "[It] was a disaster. There were so many mistakes," said Len Goodman. "I am totally shocked. You don't need to overdo it," agreed Bruno Tonioli. And Carrie Ann Inaba said, "You are by far our most naturally gifted dancers and it makes me upset that you went for that choice." All three judges gave them a disappointing 7, for a total of 21.

They came back strong with their second dance, however, winning a 10 from Len with their salsa. "Work to your strengths -- your strength is you're crisp, you're clear -- great technique. "Brooke is back! Welcome back into the competition!" proclaimed Bruno, who gave them a 9. And Carrie Anne agreed, "A champion is someone who rises above it and comes back." She also gave them a 9, for a total of 29 points.

"Hannah Montana" star Cody Linley and Julianne Hough's first dance was the Pasa Doble. Partnered up in competition for the first time since Julianne returned from having surgery, the pair underwhelmed the judges with their first effort. "There has to be some sense of style in the dance. The timing was poor. I can not let it go. This is not good enough," complained Bruno, who gave them a 7. "It was not good; it was wooden," added Len, with a 7. Carrie Anne gave them an 8 and said, "Ten for determination," but warned, "Smooth it out."

Their second dance was a salsa, and it turned the judges around. "It was a lot of fun," said Carrie Anne. "You bring so much joy to the room." Bruno called Cody a "cheeky devil," while Len offered, "Very powerful. Great lifts. Well done." All three gave 8s, for a total of 24.

Football great Warren Sapp and Kym Johnson started their night out with a crowd-pleasing Mambo. Carrie Anne enthused, "You know how to bring the house down -- they love it," but warned, "You've gotta up the game just a hair. It was a little lackluster." Bruno smiled, "You have such a super-sized sense of fun; you get away with murder." While Len said, "You come out and you show us great personality." All three judges gave the couple an 8, for a total of 24.

For their second dance, a Jitterbug," Warren and Kym landed two more 8s from Len and Bruno, while Carrie Anne was more generous with a 9, saying, "I loved it. I thought it was great. You brought you're A-game back."

The last couple of the night, former *NSYNC star Lance Bass and his partner Lacey Schwimmer, were the surprise hit of the night, landing three coveted scores of 10! Their first dance, a mambo, elicited raves from the judges. "I know I've been tough on you in the last few weeks. That's the best dance so far," said Len, who gave them a 9. "This is semi-final material!" raved Bruno, who gave another 9. "That was a show-stopper," said Carrie Anne, who honored them with another 10.

Their second dance, a Jitterbug, was the real winner of the night, with the dance-floor couple dressed in WWII-era military uniforms. "I'm going to salute you," said Len, giving them a 9. "You've come out tonight and danced two fabulous dances." Bruno gave them a 10, calling their performance "a joy, a real joy," while Carrie Anne perhaps summed it up best with another 10, saying, "Once in awhile magic happens on the dance floor -- that was magic."

Kanye West Reacts to His Arrest in England

Kanye West gives his side of the story regarding his arrest in Newcastle, England on Friday after an altercation with a member of the paparazzi.

In a recent blog, Kanye explains the events that led to his arrest. "I was encountered by a thirsty paparazzi as usual. He felt he had more rights to my space then me, so I put my hand up to prevent him from taking my image."

He continues, "I didn't assault him but merely putting my hand up to cover his lens. My security yelled, 'Get the camera off him.' I guess in all the commotion the camera scraped [the paparazzo's] nose."

Kanye said three hours later, the cops showed up at his hotel room door to arrest him. "They placed me in handcuffs and drove me to the station. They spoke about how this was obviously a publicity stunt by the photographer but they still had to go through the motions."

According to MTV UK, police arrested Kanye on suspicion of assault, but he was quickly released without charge.

Robert Pattinson Reveals Reason for Accepting 'Twilight' Role

What was the biggest draw for Robert Pattinson to take on the role as the dreamy vampire Edward Cullen in 'Twilight?'

Despite his new-found stature as a heartthrob, Robert was initially hesitant about playing the role of Edward until he found out his love interest and co-star would be Kristen Stewart, he tells Premiere.com.

"When I read the book, and there are these moony descriptions of Edward as this God-like figure, I thought there was no way I could play him, really," Robert said. "But when I got into the room with Kristen, there was just certain chemistry."

"She's basically the reason I did the movie," Robert adds.

The 22-year-old actor tells Premiere he was a fan of Kristen's before he had the opportunity to work with her, adding: "She's really the best actress of her generation."

The Aftermath of the 'House' Kiss!

Ever since "House" began, there has been a special chemistry between Dr. Gregory House (Hugh Laurie) and his boss -- Dr. Lisa Cuddy (Lisa Edelstein). Two weeks ago, fans finally got a bit of a payoff when the two kissed.

But exactly what does the kiss mean? Will there be a full-blown romance, or will the two TV docs try to regain their previous status quo?

"I don't think that it will go on in a predictable, 'Okay, now everything is shifting, and this is the story kind of way,'" executive producer Katie Jacobs said in a phone call about the show. "Hopefully, we explore it in a very 'House-ian' way, which is, 'It's there, and, now what do we do?' But, don't expect to see dates and them going to the movies. It's not going to unfold like that."

That said, Jacobs feels that the relationship between House and Cuddy may be more real than any other relationship on TV, because real relationships are complicated. And any relationship with House is going to be difficult.

"They may not be right for each other," Jacobs points out. "I think that what's so interesting to us about the relationship is that I could, right now, make a case for it and make a case against it. That feels real to me, the fact that there are two sides."

In fact, Jacobs believes that just as there is chemistry between House and Cuddy, there is also chemistry between House and Cameron (Jennifer Morrison) and House and Thirteen (Olivia Wilde).

"We go for as much chemistry as possible," she says. "I think what it is, is House, as a character, has an emptiness. What most of these women want to do is somehow see if they can ease his pain. They think on the inside that there's a lot of pain and, if they can somehow be the one to make House smooth out those rough edges, wouldn't it be sweet? But it's mostly going to be up to House. He could have a relationship with any one of them, but he's got to be in the mind space where he's ready to make himself vulnerable. I don't see him as being at that place entirely at the moment."

And while Jacobs won't give away too much about the burgeoning relationship between House and Cuddy, she does give us the following tease: "The Christmas episode really has a very satisfying surprise for Cuddy and House in a personal way. I do not mean that they wind up embracing each other. It's House-ian. It's left of center."

Sir Paul McCartney on Long Lost Beatles Song

The Beatles' classics have entertained music enthusiasts for decades, but could a new Beatles song be on the horizon?

Sir Paul McCartney tells the Associated Press that he feels the time is right for the public to hear "Carnival of Light," a 14-minute experimental song the group recorded in 1967 that was never released.

And this particular song is not your average Beatles classic. The AP says the track reportedly contains distorted guitar and gargling sounds -- and even includes McCartney and bandmate John Lennon shouting "Barcelona!" and "Are you all right?"

The legendary musician tells the news agency about the unconventional way in which the song was recorded.

While recording, he told his bandmates to "just wander round all of the stuff and bang it, shout, play it. It doesn't need to make any sense."

So why after all these years is McCartney pushing for the song's release?

The British artist simply states, "The time has come for it to get its moment."

In order to release the track, McCartney would still need to obtain permission from Ringo Starr and the widows of both Lennon and George Harrison.
